Job Summary:
This Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse (RN) position is located in Rome, Georgia. The role involves providing patient care in a unit that manages both medical-surgical and critical care patients. The successful candidate must bring their license on the first day of assignment and have at least two years of experience in the requested specialty.
Job Details:
- Location: Rome, Georgia
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with shift times of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., on a 13-week cycle
- Required Qualifications:
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Cognizant Patient Observation (CPI)
Education/Experience: Two years of experience in Progressive Care Unit or appropriate specialty; valid license - Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required to all medical-surgical and critical care areas, including emergency department boarders
- Additional Information:
Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
On call: May be requested during low census periods, though this is rare
RTO Requests: Up to 7 days of approved time-off if participating in the organization’s clinical interviewing process and if the contract extension is needed to accommodate
