The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) is based in the local healthcare facility and provides hands-on patient care within the scope of practice established by the California Nursing Practice Act. - Education & Certifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred; current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers; CA-RN (Registered Nurse) license
- Years of Experience: 0.0 years required
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Responsibilities: Creates and maintains a healing environment by providing emotional support, managing patient discomforts, and delivering family-centered care. Performs comprehensive assessments, interprets clinical data, and collaborates with patients, families, and team members to develop and execute care plans. Teaches patients and families self-care skills and monitors patient responses to interventions. Demonstrates leadership and effective communication, utilizing current technology and contributing to continuous quality improvement and professional development.
- Submission Requirements: Must be able to demonstrate current licensure, BLS certification, and the ability to rapidly respond to clinical situations.
