Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Marquette, Michigan. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a Level 2 ICU with open heart program, cath lab, neuro surgery, trauma center, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) programs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of orientation.

- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, at least 2 years of PCU experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in CVICU, Neuro ICU, organ donation, pediatric diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA).
- Additional Information: Floating is done on a rotation with the travel nurses. The unit has 24 beds with a patient ratio of 1:3 for ICU patients. Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps, Omnicell, Prisma Flex CRRT, Impella, IABP, EVDs, bolt monitoring, vents, bipap, and high-flow oxygen. Cerner electronic health record system is used.
