Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position in Greenville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a 32-bed flex unit that handles intermediate and general care, including oncology, surgical, and benign surgical patients. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Greenville, North Carolina
- Shift: 12:00 PM to End of Week, Nights shift
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 06/29/2026
- Duration: 13 Weeks, with 36 or 48 hours per week options
- Schedule: Self-scheduling with 3 out of 4 holidays and 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule
- Required Qualifications: Valid North Carolina (NC) or Compact Nursing License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), EPIC and travel experience, ability to read and interpret strips
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in progressive care or step-down units, familiarity with electronic medical record systems, and prior oncology or surgical care experience
- Additional Information: The role requires float to areas of equal or lesser care, and all requests for time off (RTO) must be approved prior to confirmation; no additional time off will be granted during the assignment
