RN Progressive Care Unit (PCU) — Nights | Englewood, Colorado
A Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a multi-trauma-focused unit serving highly acute patients. This role supports patient care for individuals requiring close monitoring and advanced interventions in an acute care setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift (12-hour shifts), minimum 36.0 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN license; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PCU experience; NIH Prior Meditech experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with BLS and ACLS will be considered first
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include managing a highly acute, team-based patient care environment and supporting clinical needs involving chest tubes, tracheostomies (trachs), suctioning, and ventilator-capable care, as well as performing bedside chest tube placement and assisting with bedside bronchitis care
- Licensure/Certification Submission: Candidates must bring their license on the first day
