Job Summary:
This healthcare organization is seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) specialized in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for a travel assignment in Wichita, Kansas. The position involves caring for post-operative patients in a recovery setting. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The work schedule is during day shifts, with the possibility of on-call responsibilities.
Job Details:
- Location: Wichita, Kansas
- Shift Hours: 12 hours (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PACU RN experience; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); located in the United States; experience in a hospital setting
- Preferred Qualifications: Flexibility with hours; prior Meditech experience
- Additional Information: On-call is required with a 30-minute response time when on-call. Experience with Meditech electronic medical records is preferred. Candidates should have a great attitude, handle stress well, and prioritize patient experience.
- Responsibilities include providing postoperative care, monitoring patient recovery, and responding promptly during on-call periods.
