Job Summary: Aurora, Colorado PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) traveler
The organization is seeking a PACU RN traveler to provide post-anesthesia nursing care in a campus setting. The role includes delivering pediatric-focused post-anesthesia recovery support and meeting all shift and call expectations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shifts (10 hours) with rotating start times; 4 shifts per week. Minimum 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with additional weekend call shifts (8-hour CALL shifts on weekends). Start times rotate among 0700, 0800, 0900, 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, and 1600, with schedule changes possible up to 24-hour notice.
  • Required Qualifications: BSN required; Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required; pediatric PACU experience required (must be clearly documented); pediatric experience, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and previous pre/post experience required; previous travel experience required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information:
    • Weekend requirement includes 8-hour CALL shifts on Saturday and Sunday with the following call windows: 0700–1500, 0900–1700, 1500–2300, and 2300–0700.
    • Holiday requirement includes additional shifts, with an expectation of 2–3 eight-hour shifts per holiday.
    • No approved time off (RTO) during the first two weeks of the assignment.
    • Medical and religious exemptions from the seasonal influenza vaccine are permitted.
    • Assignment dates: 07/07/2026 – 09/12/2026 (13 weeks).
