Job Summary:
A Pediatric Psychology (PEDS PSYCH) registered nurse position is available in Oregon City, Oregon. This role involves working in a Pediatric and Adolescent inpatient acute crisis unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers opportunities to work with a diverse patient population, providing specialized psychiatric care. The selected candidate will float between units and facilities as needed.
Job Details:
- Location: Oregon City, Oregon
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS). Valid Psych Registered Nurse (RN) license pending, with at least 1 year of experience in pediatric psychiatric or acute care settings. EMR system experience with Epic.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with child/adolescents, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, depressive disorders, psychotic disorders, schizophrenia-spectrum disorders, substance use, suicidal behavior, trauma-and-stressor-related disorders, and physical hold protocols.
- Additional Information: Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Travelers may be required to float between nearby sister facilities and may receive incentives when floating to certain facilities. Travelers must be flexible to work three of the five holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day).
