Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Missoula, Montana. This role involves providing specialized care to pediatric patients in a Level 3 NICU and PICU setting within a teaching hospital environment. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of placement.
Job Details:
- Location: Missoula, Montana
- Position: RN, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
- Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts)
- Schedule: Weekly guaranteed hours of 36; every third weekend on call is required
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), 2+ years of PICU experience, EMR experience with Cerner, Montana state license or eligibility, and no minimum experience requirement for this specific role
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Level I trauma facilities, teaching hospital background, travel experience, and experience working in CVICU or PICU in a teaching facility
- Additional Information: Role involves float requirements to NICU and pediatrics units, with a patient ratio of 1:1 or 2:1 in PICU. Equipment includes Nihon Koden monitors and Drager vents. Supervisor: Pamela Pearson.
