Job Summary:
A Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse position is available in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves providing specialized care to pediatric cardiac patients in a dedicated Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays; willingness to be on call is required
- Required Qualifications: Certifications, Educational Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: No minimum experience required
- Additional Information: This is a new and specialized CVICU with 8 beds connected to a 14-bed PICU. The unit works closely with the surgical team and intensivist team. Flexibility in scheduling is needed to accommodate surgical cases. There may be float requirements to Pediatric Intensive Care Units, Pediatric wards, and Neonatal Intensive Care Units.
