Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse located in Asheville, North Carolina. Job Details:
- Position: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse
- Location: Asheville, North Carolina
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid PALS certification; minimum of 1 year of PICU experience; graduated from an accredited nursing program; current RN license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IV starts, central line dressing changes, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator management.
- Responsibilities: Providing advanced pediatric critical care, including patient assessment, administering medications, ventilator management, and ensuring compliance with unit policies and procedures.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Additional Information: The role requires the ability to float to Pediatric Emergency Department and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as needed. Must meet hospital-specific staffing and credentialing guidelines.
