Job Summary:
Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) position is available at a healthcare facility in Olympia, Washington. The role involves providing specialized pediatric care within a pediatric unit located inside the post-partum unit. Candidates must bring their nursing license on the first day. The assignment is scheduled to begin on 07/14/2026.

Job Details:

  • Shift: 3x12 Night Shift
  • Hours: 12 hours per shift
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
  • Start Date: 07/14/2026
  • Schedule: Nights, minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license (pending license accepted; quick start preferred), 1 year minimum pediatric and med-surgical experience, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), pediatric MedSurg skills including management and interpretation of dysrhythmias, hyperbilirubinemia management, breastfeeding support, line care, oxygen delivery, BiPAP/CPAP management, and PPE/Isolation precautions. Experience with Epic electronic charting system is required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric trauma experience (Trauma Level I/II), teaching hospital experience, experience with EMR.
  • Float: Float to Post-Partum and Special Care Nursery units may be required.
  • Additional Information:
    • Prior trauma level experience, teaching hospital background, and EMR familiarity are preferred.
    • This is a short-term acute care pediatric unit with approximately 6 beds and an average daily census of 3.
    • Up-to-date references covering the last 3 years, including at least one within the past year, are required.
    • COVID-19 vaccination is not required; flu vaccine status is unknown.
    • Candidates must include all requested RTO (Request for Time Off) information with their submission.
    • The candidate should be available to start as soon as possible, ideally on 07/13/2026.
    • No local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles are eligible for this travel assignment.
