Job Summary:
The Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PICU/CVICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role involves providing comprehensive family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents within a Level I Pediatric Intensive Care setting. Candidates must bring their Minnesota RN license on the first day and possess the required certifications and clinical experience described below. The position requires working rotating shifts; no specific pay or billing information is included.

- Position Type: Full-time (FTE 0.9) with a 12-week assignment starting 07/13/2026
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts; every other weekend; no call required
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Minnesota RN license or Minnesota Temporary Permit-RN; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification; two (2) years PICU nursing experience caring for pre-operative and immediate post-operative PICU surgical patients, trauma patients, or two (2) years pediatric CVICU nursing experience caring for pre-operative, immediate post-operative cardiac surgical patients, and pre- and post-cardiac procedural patients.
- Additional Information: The RN will coordinate and provide family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process. The role includes accountability for professional practice, including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in collaboration with other healthcare team members. Candidates must have experience caring for PICU or pediatric CVICU patients, including post-operative and trauma care.
