Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse - Located at a hospital with 209 beds and 11 operating suites. This position involves working a rotating day/evening shift from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm, with weekend rotation approximately every six weeks and holiday coverage as needed. The role requires strong experience in orthopedic, spine, and robotics procedures, along with scrub and circulating skills.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating day/evening, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Massachusetts nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Electronic Medical Record system experience with EPIC, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association, at least 1 year of experience in operating room nursing, must be separated from their prior employment for at least 6 months to be considered, and must scrub and circulate.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certified in perioperative nursing (CNOR)
- Additional Information: Candidates must have a strong background in orthopedic, spine, and robotic procedures. This position involves no local applicants; candidates must be separated from their previous organization for over 6 months. Orientation duration is one week, and scrubs hours only. The role includes call as needed, with requirements for holiday work during summer and winter seasons. A BILH coversheet is required at the time of submission.
