RN – Operating Room Transplant (Dallas, Texas)
Registered Nurse (RN) support is needed for the Operating Room Transplant specialty within Transplant Services (abdominal—liver, kidney, and pancreas). This role is primarily outpatient and focused on desk-based data collection, patient assessment support during potential clinic days, and participation in WebEx meetings as needed. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days; 8 shift hours; minimum 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday (0800–1600)
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; must demonstrate proficient computer capabilities with MediTech and Microsoft
- Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of transplant experience; experience with United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) and Organ Procurement Organization (OPO)
- Additional Information:
- Primary responsibilities include desk work/data collection and supporting patient assessment activities during potential clinic days (including rooming and evaluating patients)
- Flexibility is required for patient assignment support across pre-transplant, waitlist, and/or post–solid organ transplant needs
- Maintains a caring and compassionate demeanor while supporting complex patient psychosocial needs
- WebEx meeting participation as needed (PRN)
