Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) - Saint Petersburg, Florida. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care in a busy OR unit within a large Level I Trauma and Teaching Facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The role offers a day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 36 hours per week, and opportunities to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.

- Required Qualifications: Certifications in relevant OR specialties, valid nursing license, current trauma experience, extensive teaching hospital background, proficiency with Robotics gynecology, urology, general, and orthopedic procedures, EMR experience with Cerner, Epic, and some Meditech, immediate availability, and flexibility to work various shift demands.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotic surgeries, extensive trauma and teaching hospital experience, proficiency in managing complex surgical procedures such as cysto, breast, knee scopes, and total joint surgeries.
- Additional Information: The unit comprises 7 OR suites with a team of 30 staff including CSTs, RNs, aides, and leadership. The environment features varied equipment based on surgical specialty, with emphasis on team player and flexible personalities. The traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
