Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in the Boston area. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care in a busy surgical environment, primarily focusing on orthopedic trauma procedures, with opportunities to work with neuro, general, and other complex surgical cases. The role requires current licensure, certification, and experience in a fast-paced OR setting.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 3 years of OR experience, including trauma and orthopedic surgeries. Must have current operating room experience and demonstrated working knowledge of aseptic techniques. Experience working with complex surgical equipment such as endoscopic, laser, ENT, orthopedic, plastic, podiatry, neuro, general, thoracic, urology, and vascular procedures. Travel experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Neuro, general, and other specialized surgical experience.
  • Additional Information:
    • Need to pass a computerized ECG/telemetry and medication test prior to acceptance with a score of 85% or higher, with no re-sits allowed.
    • Must be available for testing within 48 hours of offer.
    • No more than three days of time off in a row will be approved; all requests must be submitted at the time of application.
    • Flu vaccination required before start; medical exemption available.
    • BILH coversheet required at submission; please provide availability for interview.
    • Candidates who have worked at the organization within the last six months (including travel, per diem, or permanent roles) are ineligible.
    • No local travelers (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility).
