Job Summary: Wichita, KS — Operating Room Open Heart (CVOR) Registered Nurse
Travel Registered Nurse (RN) position for CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) within an open heart-focused environment. Responsibilities include supporting cardiovascular surgical procedures and maintaining patient care standards in an acute care setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day Shift (7A–5P); 10 shift hours; minimum 40 hours per week. On-call consists of 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month.
- Required Qualifications: Active Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Minimum 1-year current acute care CVOR RN hospital experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); open heart and cardiovascular experience; prior Meditech experience.
- Additional Information: CVOR experience supports procedures including CABG and AVR, MVR and TAVR. ECMO program is restarting.
