Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) CVOR RN — Sarasota, Florida
A Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures is needed to support Open Heart cases, including TAVR procedures and additional chest/thoracic work. The role requires readiness to cover holiday, weekend, and on-call needs with a 30-minute response expectation. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, 40.0 hours per week minimum
- Required Qualifications: Active Florida license required at time of submission; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required; Cardiovascular Operating Room experience with Open Heart case support in a 500+ bed count facility (minimum 2 years specialty experience stated); prior travel experience required; ability to fulfill holiday, weekend, and on-call requirements with a 30-minute response time
- Preferred Qualifications: Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) preferred
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Supports Open Heart cases, including TAVR procedures, completion of dissection, and chest/thoracic cases
- Travel: Travel assignment required; prior travel is required
