Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) in Saint Louis, Missouri. This position involves providing specialized cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical support within a Level I trauma facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Certified Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience; consideration given to candidates with 1 year of experience if they have worked in a Level I trauma facility.
- Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Schedule: Four days per week, 10-hour shifts from 6:15 AM to 4:45 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Experience: Scrub and circulate experience in cardiovascular surgery is required; primarily involved in cardiac and thoracic cases, as well as vascular and transplant procedures including liver, kidney, pancreas, and Whipples pancreatic surgeries.
- Must have sufficient level 1 trauma experience.
- Vaccinations: Flu vaccination mandatory (medical or religious exemptions only).
- Additional requirements: Holidays as needed, discussed in advance.

- No RTO restrictions.
- No local candidates accepted within 75-mile radius.
- Will float within service line as needed.
