Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) nurse specializing in open heart procedures in Detroit, Michigan, provides leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, they are responsible for providing, delegating, supervising, and documenting care and teaching patients and their families. - Schedule: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; minimum of 40 hours per week
- On-Call: Yes, 48 hours of call per six-week schedule—must be available one weekend per month
- Additional Information: Duration of assignment is 13 weeks with the possibility of different shift options based on operational needs
