Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart (CVOR) Nurse — Boston, Massachusetts. The healthcare provider will support cardiac surgery cases in a cardiovascular operating room environment, including the ability to scrub and circulate for procedures such as heart transplants, aortic dissections, CABG, and valves. The role also includes circulating other cases when cardiac assignments are not applicable. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights (7P-7A), 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; License to submit (willing to wait); Level 1 trauma center experience; Experience in the Operating Room (Open Heart/CVOR) environment, with a stated minimum of 2 year(s) required
- Preferred Qualifications: Preferred travel experience
- Additional Information: The role requires the ability to scrub and circulate cardiac cases (including heart transplants, aortic dissections, CABG, and valves). Circulating additional cases may be required when cardiac cases are not available.
