Job Summary:
An Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) is needed in Margate, Florida. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care within a busy surgical unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role includes working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The position is scheduled to start on July 20, 2026.
Job Details:
- Location: Margate, FL
- Position type: OR RN (Operating Room Registered Nurse) – 2 positions available
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification, CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification. Candidates must have 2 years of current experience in an acute OR setting, with experience in orthopedics, spine, and joint replacement procedures, particularly Knee and Hip replacements.
- Additional Information: On-call is required with 1-2 shifts during the week and 1 weekend shift per 4-week period. The RN must be able to scrub and circulate, possessing knowledge of all service lines. Rotating weekends are a possibility. The unit performs joint replacement, ENT, orthopedic, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery procedures.
