Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in Independence, Missouri. This role involves supporting a surgical unit with a focus on orthopedics, neuro, and trauma cases. Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of circulating experience in these specialties and be able to independently circulate cases involving robotic, neuro, and trauma procedures. The position requires candidates to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Independence, Missouri
- Schedule: Day Shift; 10 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; minimum of 2 years circulating experience with emphasis on orthopedics, neuro, and trauma; ability to run two rooms on weekends; in-house staffing for trauma designation; experience circulating orthopedic, neuro, da Vinci robotic, and trauma cases; EMR proficiency with Meditech; must be able to independently circulate complex cases.

- Dress Code: Scrub color - Blue
- Additional Information: Staffing includes 10 RNs and 10-14 scrub technicians on day shift, 1 RN and 1 scrub technician on night shift. The unit handles approximately 500 cases per month across a 10-bed facility. Float rotation may be required.
