Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) with specialization in Operating Room (OR) Circulate — located in Glendale, Arizona. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for surgical patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Glendale, Arizona
- Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing or higher; current, valid RN license in Arizona or applicable compact state; BLS and ACLS certifications required. PALS certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date if assigned ASC services pediatrics; minimum one year licensed RN experience in OR (support for other procedural areas considered with approval); new licensed RN enrolled in the PeriOperative (PeriOp) 101 program with successful completion within 4 months.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional OR or perioperative licensed RN experience is strongly preferred.
- Additional Information: Position involves direct patient care in a surgical environment, utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills. The role may include providing support and mentorship to other staff, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
