Job Summary:
Operating Room First Assistant in Montrose, Colorado. This position involves assisting the surgeon during surgical procedures, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Job Details:
- Location: Montrose, Colorado
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Degree in Nursing; completion of an approved first assistant program; BCLS Certification; experience in obstetrics, gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, ENT, plastics, dental, urology, and general surgery cases.
- Preferred Qualifications: Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation use, care, and cleaning; excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills; sound judgment; ability to perform detailed work and maintain confidentiality.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position involves call responsibilities, including one weekend per month and one weeknight, with no charge. Holiday coverage is required.
