Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room (OR) nursing, located in Charleston, South Carolina. This role involves providing high-quality perioperative nursing care, including scrubbing and circulating during surgical procedures. Candidates must bring their nursing license on the first day. The position requires experience in Cardiac, Open Heart, Vascular, or Endovascular procedures.
Job Details:
- Location: Charleston, SC
- Schedule: 12 weeks, 40 hours per week, day shifts from 06:30 AM to 03:00 PM, with two weekday calls and every 3rd to 4th weekend call.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or a recognized NCSBN Compact State; current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification; BSN preferred or required within five years of hire; ability to scrub and circulate; knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice; organizational policies and safety precautions; effective problem-solving, record-keeping, and communication skills; experience in Cardiac, Open Heart, Vascular, or Endovascular settings.
