Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse, located in the East Campus, is responsible for providing exceptional perioperative patient care during a variety of surgical procedures including Orthopedics, Total Joints, Gynecology, and General surgery. This role involves working during evening shifts in a fast-paced environment where strong orthopedic and total joint experience is essential for success.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, and Years of Experience: 1-3 years related work experience required.
- Schedule: Evening shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include supporting a busy surgical department with Gynecology, General, Urology, Robotics, Oncology, Orthopedics (Joint Replacements, Sports medicine, Oncology), Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastic, and Interventional Pulmonology procedures.
- Required Qualifications: Current Massachusetts Licensed Registered Nurse, strong orthopedic experience, and recent surgical experience in Orthopedics and Total Joints, Gynecology, or General Surgery.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise.
- Additional Information: No local travelers accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility). Orientation occurs weekly, and candidates must provide availability for interview at submission.
