Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse – Boston, MA. This position involves circulating and scrubbing in the operating room environment, supporting a variety of surgical procedures including general, transplant, neuro, orthopedic, and ENT surgeries. The role requires collaboration with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency during day shifts.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Operating Room Nursing (OR), active licensure in Massachusetts, at least 1 year of clinical experience in an operating room setting, and must be able to circulate and scrub.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with surgical robotics, transplants, ENT, neuro, orthopedics, and trauma. Scrubbing highly preferred.
- Additional Information: The OR team operates across multiple surgical specialties, including inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery. Flexibility to float to other operating rooms such as east campus or CVI OR may be required. The start date is immediate with a compliance period of up to 4 weeks. Weekly orientation sessions are held every Monday. RTO requests must be approved prior to assignment. Candidates must have been separated from their previous facility for at least six months if they have recent experience with organizations similar to the employer’s. Parking may cost up to $43 per day.
