Job Summary:
Travel Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a healthcare facility located in Arcadia, California. This job involves covering orthopedic surgeries such as total hips, knees, and spine/neuro, along with general non-invasive procedures. The assignment includes heavy surgical cases with potential emergency craniotomies, and requires working evenings with on-call responsibilities. This is a 13-week contract with an immediate starting date of 09/21/2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evening shift, 2:45 pm – 11:15 pm, 5 days a week, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: BSN degree, RN license, BLS certification, ACLS certification, minimum of 2 years' experience in the operating room or surgery, at least 1 year of travel experience, California location requirements, and 2 years of specialty experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role involves working in a high census environment with vacancy coverage, including on-call duties scheduled four weeks in advance, and participation in major holiday work including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.
