Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) located in Brookhaven, Georgia. This position involves working night shifts on a weekend block schedule, specifically on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The role entails providing specialized neonatal care in a level IV or surgical NICU environment, with responsibility for managing common diagnoses such as congenital diaphragmatic hernia, meconium aspiration syndrome, necrotizing enterocolitis, tracheoesophageal fistula/esophageal atresia, abdominal wall defects, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, pulmonary hypertension, and perioperative neonatal care.
Job Details:
- Location: Brookhaven, Georgia
- Shift Time: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN license, level IV or surgical NICU experience, PALS certification is required, NRP is preferred, flu vaccine is mandatory, and must be tested along with drug screen.
- Preferred Qualifications: NRP certification is preferred.
- Additional Information: Open to float to other units. NICOTINE FREE FACILITY. Must work at least one holiday if it falls during the contract.
- Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday BLOCK Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
