Job Summary
Mother/Baby - L&D MOM BABY Specialty in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for mothers and newborns, including neonatal transition care, within a 270-bed organization. The position requires flexibility to meet staffing needs, with an emphasis on prior experience in travel nursing and neonatal care.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS, NRP, and Compact or TN license required; ACLS preferred. Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, including prior travel experience.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Must have experience with newborn transition care, be flexible to meet the staffing needs of the unit, and have prior travel experience. The orientation dates are limited to 11/16, 11/30, and 12/14 only, with no block schedule offered. No time off is approved from 9/19-10/17 due to Epic Go Live. EMR systems used are Cerner and GE Centricity. Weekend work is required, and no call is necessary. Candidates may be floated to NICU and Labor & Delivery as needed.
