Job Summary:
Medical Surgical With Telemetry (MS TELE) Registered Nurse (RN) — Nights in Manchester, New Hampshire. This role supports a medical-surgical telemetry unit providing care for patients with conditions such as vascular and bariatric surgery needs, GI bleeds, sepsis, chest tubes, and arrhythmias. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift time 1845–0715; 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active RN license (required at submission); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Basic Life Support (BLS); RN experience in a hospital setting (2 years experience required).
- Preferred Qualifications: Surgical and bariatrics experience; cardiac experience; vascular surgery experience; experience with wound vac/dressing changes.
- Responsibilities: Provide patient care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit with typical patient ratios of 1:5, with potential to stretch to 1:6. Utilize unit-supported equipment and workflow tools, including Pyxis and Alaris pumps, as well as bladder scanners, EKGs, Dinamaps, Atrium chest tubes, and a vein finder.
- Additional Information: Float rotation to like medical-surgical units and other areas of the facility (such as PCU/ED) may be required if patients are overflowing, with the expectation of similar patient types.
