Job Summary:
The organization seeks a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology in New York, New York. - Required Qualifications: Active New York State Registered Nurse (NYS RN) license; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred) or associate degree with relevant experience or active matriculation in a BSN program; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 2 years of medical surgical/ambulatory care experience preferred; 1 year travel experience preferred for travel positions (not required for per diem); Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience highly preferred.
- Additional Information: Must have radiation oncology experience in an outpatient setting; minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Responsibilities include delivering patient-centered care based on the nursing process, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and participating in quality and safety initiatives. The role also involves performing charge nurse duties, coordinating supplies, and supporting clinical development.
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with 37.5 hours per week.
