Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); skills in sterile dressing changes and infection prevention; understanding of blood and electrolyte replacement process protocols.
- Preferred Qualifications: General Medical Oncology understanding; familiarity with ports and central lines.
- Additional Information:
- Unit staffing includes day shift charge coverage (1), with up to 5 registered nurses and 2 patient care technicians per floor; night shift charge coverage (1), with up to 5 registered nurses and 1 patient care technician per floor.
- Estimated patient ratios are 4:1 up to a maximum of 5:1.
- Equipment includes baxter pumps; electronic medical record system is Meditech.
- Weekend and on-call coverage includes rotating responsibilities.
