Job Summary:
The Cleveland, Ohio healthcare provider is seeking a qualified Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse. This position involves providing specialized care to patients with complex medical oncology needs, requiring excellent communication skills, interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias, and expert administration and monitoring of chemotherapy and its side effects. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio
- Shift Schedule: 12-hour day/night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, experience in medical-surgical oncology, STEP DOWN experience highly preferred, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred, proficiency in interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias, experience with chemotherapy administration and monitoring side effects, ability to perform high-level respiratory care including tracheostomies, chest tubes, Airvo, CPAP/BiPAP, and skills to identify rapidly changing patient conditions with multitasking in critical situations.
- Preferred Qualifications: STEP DOWN nursing experience, hospice/end of life care experience, ACLS certification.
