Job Summary
Medical Surgical Neurology (MS NEURO) Registered Nurse (RN) — Saint Louis, Missouri. This role provides nursing care for patients in a neurosurgical/neurology-focused medical surgical unit, utilizing the nursing process to deliver safe, coordinated patient care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights (7p–7:30a); 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); minimum 1 year of inpatient acute care experience; Medical Surgical (Med Surg) and neuro experience required; willingness for occasional charge is required
- Preferred Qualifications: Charge experience is helpful but not required
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be expected to work at least one of the major winter holidays (examples: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day). Weekly guaranteed hours are available at 36 or 48 per week at the request of the candidate.
