Job Summary:
This positions involves a Medical Surgical Nurse specializing in med-surg care, located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The role requires recent clinical experience in medical-surgical units, with a focus on telemetry and the ability to float across units as needed. Candidates must bring their Massachusetts Registered Nurse license on the first day of assignment. The assignment begins on June 29, 2026, and requires candidates to be available for scheduled interviews and to adhere to the requested start date.
Job Details:
- Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
- Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, with holidays required if needed.
- Schedule: Start date on 06/29/2026; candidate must be available for scheduled interview dates on 06/19/2026, 06/26/2026, and 07/04/2026 - 07/05/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Two years of current Medical Surgical experience, telemetry experience, willingness to float, completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course (strongly required), Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred, current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications, Massachusetts RN license to be uploaded and valid through 07/26/2025.
- Preferred Qualifications: Teaching hospital experience, EMR experience with EPIC, trauma level experience, weekend block schedule preference.
- Additional Information: Candidate must have their own vehicle, include perm address in profile, and upload all required documentation including updated license, Nursys database record, and certifications. All scheduling requests must be made at submission; requests after offer may be rescinded. Candidate must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Qualifications & Documentation: Active MA RN license (renewal in progress), BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, successful completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course, work history, skills checklist, supervisory signed reference, and EMR experience must be uploaded.
