Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) units is needed at a healthcare facility in Petoskey, Michigan. This position involves providing patient-centered and evidence-based care within a fast-paced medical surgical environment. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Petoskey, Michigan
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Michigan nursing license; BLS (American Heart Association) certification; at least 2 years of experience in straight medical-surgical nursing; Level II or I trauma level experience; no float duties; no step-down unit or telemetry; must be a registered nurse (RN); experience in a medical-surgical floor is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Michigan license verification; recent skills checklist within one year for RN specialties; travel experience preferred.
- Additional Information: Full-time employees of the organization are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
