Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) position is available in an observation unit located in Marquette, Michigan. This facility is a 225-bed specialty care hospital offering comprehensive services including Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, and more. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves working on a unit that cares for adult patients with observation status, such as chest pain, asthma exacerbation, TIA, abdominal pain, urinary issues, and other similar conditions.

- Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Certifications: Current MI State License, BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale Competency, Telemetry/ECG Competency; optional certifications include TNCC and ENPC
- Required Qualifications: 1 year of med/surg experience, telemetry experience, Cerner electronic health record proficiency, MI State License, BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale Competency, Tele/ECG Competency, TNCC, ENPC, and at least 1 year of experience
- Float: Float rotation may be required to Medical, Cardiac, Neuro-Ortho units
- Additional Information: The unit primarily treats adult patients (18+) with observation status for various conditions, and the expected patient ratio is approximately 1:5 with cardiac monitor equipment on site.
