Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Marquette, Michigan. This role involves working in a 225-bed specialty care hospital within various units including Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, and more. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Marquette, Michigan
- Role: RN in Medical/Surgical specialty
- Shift: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting, ability to work in a stressful environment, critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience on a medical/surgical unit is preferred.

- Number of Beds: 225
- Patient Ratios: 5:1 to 6:1
- Equipment: Telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, Bladder scanner, Dynamaps
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Cerner
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric (ages 18 – 125)
- Additional Information:
- Float: Occasional float rotation may be required.
- Dress Code: Scrubs in Galaxy Blue (navy also acceptable).
- Unacceptable Attire: Excessive jewelry, uncovered tattoos considered offensive, long or dirty fingernails in violation of hygiene policy.
