Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) for a travel assignment in Englewood, Colorado. Candidates are expected to have at least one year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience and must bring their license on the first day. This role involves working on the 7 North-Spine unit, typically scheduled during day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Floor
- Shift: Day Shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week minimum
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum hours per week: 36
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; at least 1-year acute care hospital Med/Surg experience; Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred; Education: RN Degree; Location: Colorado; Experience: 1 year minimum
- Preferred Qualifications: Burn Care experience, Wound Care, and Ostomy Care experience
- Additional Information: The unit utilizes equipment such as Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacuums, and patient-controlled analgesia (PCA). Typical procedures include wound and dressing care on post-operative burn and flap patients. The team comprises approximately 35 staff members, including charge nurses, nurses, licensed practical nurses (LPN), and patient care technicians (PCT). The successful candidate should be a team player and comfortable working in a busy, technologically advanced environment.
