Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor (Medical Surgical Floor) Registered Nurse (RN) — Carlsbad, New Mexico. The organization is seeking a Travel Swing Bed RN to provide general skilled nursing (SNF) level of care across Rehab and Med/Surg settings. The role includes day shift coverage from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with floating and call requirements as applicable. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift; 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; minimum 36.0 hours per week; shift hours are 12.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in the applicable clinical area (Rehab and Med/Surg).
- Responsibilities: Provide general skilled nursing (SNF) level of care nursing duties; complete coverage as a swing bed RN, including floating between Rehab and Med/Surg within scope of practice and clinical competency; respond to call requirements as applicable based on census needs (including census flex call prior to the start of the scheduled shift if census is low).
- Additional Information: Floating may be required within scope of practice and clinical competency between Rehab and Med/Surg. Fingerprints are required for New Mexico travel. Blocked scheduling may be accommodated, when included in the body of the submittal.
