Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in Athens, Tennessee. This role involves providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical unit. Candidates are required to bring their RN license and Certifications (including BLS) on the first day. The position requires a minimum of one year of experience.
Job Details:
- Location: Athens, Tennessee
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Nights shift, 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, RN License in Tennessee, Certifications/licensure required to work as an RN in Tennessee, 1+ years of experience, and ability to obtain TN license
- Preferred Qualifications: Critical care thinking skills
- Unit Information:
- Department: Medical/Surgical
- Number of Beds: Currently up to 18, with plans to increase to 24
- Patient Population: Adults and Geriatric, no pediatrics
- Equipment: Bladder scanner, glucometers, etc.
- EMR: Medhost
- Additional Information:
- All clinical staff in Tennessee must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to start date.
- All travelers must have required certifications prior to start.
- No float rotation required.
