Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) — Altoona, PA
The RN - Medical Surgical Floor position supports patient care in a hospital setting, providing medical-surgical nursing services during night shifts. This role requires current licensure and the ability to complete required onboarding items. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36.0 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active RN licensure; ability to bring the license on the first day; required onboarding documentation for hospital employment as specified by the facility (including NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), PA Child Abuse Registry, Act 31: Child Abuse Training (expires every 2 years), and Act 73 (FBI Fingerprint Clearance within 57 months prior to start) with the specified code; completion and upload of Identicare (IdentiGo) receipt and the required facility attachment together; education verification (diploma/transcripts with 3rd-party verification); and IMS acknowledgment (signed)
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level I trauma setting; teaching hospital experience; prior electronic medical record experience with EPIC and Cerner
- Additional Information: This role is for a Medical Surgical Floor assignment in a night schedule.
