Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) located in Wenatchee, Washington. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a compassionate manner within the labor and delivery department of a healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their licensure and certifications on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Wenatchee, Washington
- Schedule: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 1900 to 0730
- Required Qualifications:
- Must have Washington State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Must maintain active Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certifications
- Adheres to the healthcare provider's policies and unit standards as applicable
- Consistently functions within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice
- Must be willing to float as a sitter and in rotation
- Will take call if census is low
- Zero (0) years of experience required
- Additional Information:
- Coordinates and provides high-quality patient care with a focus on holistic assessment and individualized care plans
- Administers medications and completes nursing procedures and treatments
- Develops and continually reassesses patient care plans, including discharge planning and patient education
- Responsible for accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and responses
- Communicates effectively with the healthcare team and maintains a safe patient environment
- Participates in performance improvement processes
