Job Summary: Plymouth, New Hampshire — Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) (Nights). The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse to support Labor Delivery/OB services with clinical care guided by the nursing process, from patient assessment through pre/post-care and discharge. The role will manage high-risk pregnancy needs, including preterm labor, hypertensive disorders, diabetes in pregnancy, VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Section), prenatal testing, amniocentesis, and childbirth education.

Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts; minimum 36.0 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Current active New Hampshire RN license; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS); Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; fetal monitoring experience; labor and delivery skills checklist completed within the past year; 2 years of recent Labor Delivery / OB experience; 1 supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment; permanent address included in the submission file.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience.
  • Responsibilities: Demonstrate clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process, including assessing and identifying patient problems/needs, establishing a plan of care, implementing interventions, and evaluating and revising the plan of care based on patient progress. Provide support for high-risk pregnancy management and related labor and delivery services, including preterm labor, high blood pressure, diabetes, VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Section), prenatal testing, amniocentesis, and childbirth education classes.
  • Additional Information: RTO must be included in the submission.
