Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) is sought for a position at a healthcare facility located in Mayfield, Kentucky. This role involves providing specialized obstetric and neonatal care within the Labor and Delivery unit. Candidates are required to bring their licenses on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Mayfield, Kentucky
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours shift hours, with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours.
- Required Qualifications: Certification and licensure to work as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Kentucky. Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Experience of 1+ years in Labor and Delivery with charge experience is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: OB/L&D experience and charge experience.
- Schedule: Nights.
- Additional Information: Orientation is conducted weekly on Mondays. Candidates must reside at least 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered. Float rotation may be required as needed.
- Responsibilities: Providing obstetric and neonatal patient care, adhering to AWHONN standards for patient ratios, and following facility policies, including uniform dress code (scrubs in any color, casual wear not permitted).
- Certifications & Education: Valid RN license in Kentucky; required certifications must be obtained prior to start.
