Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) located in Lone Tree, Colorado. This seasonal travel position involves providing frontline maternal care in a busy acute care hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital Labor and Delivery experience, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) or Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification.
- Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.

- Position Number: 2/2
- Unit: Labor & Delivery with 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, 6 triage rooms, and 3 L&D operating rooms.
- Staffing: 8-10 staff members during the day shift, patient ratios 2:1 and 1:1 with high-risk patients.
- Equipment includes fetal heart rate monitors (Novii and GE), fetal scalp electrodes, and electronic medical records in CPN and Meditech systems.
- Typical procedures include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and comprehensive nursing care for labor, delivery, postpartum, and antepartum high-risk patients.
- Candidate Profile: Must have at least 1-year current acute care hospital Labor and Delivery experience. Preference for candidates with experience in maternal/baby, pediatric, and neonatal intensive care units.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
