Job Summary:
L&D (Labor and Delivery) Nurse in Kokomo, Indiana. This position involves providing care in a level 2 OB and nursery unit, with responsibilities spanning labor, triage, postpartum, and circulating in cesarean section surgeries. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Kokomo, Indiana
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; no additional certifications, education requirements, or years of experience specified
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in labor, delivery, postpartum, or nursery is preferred
- Additional Information: The unit includes 8 labor beds, 12 postpartum rooms, 4 special care nursery beds, and 1 operating room for cesarean sections. Triage activities are performed outside of labor beds. Nurses circulate during surgical procedures.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
